Farming with Trees: Growing Your Farm’s Resilience with Agroforestry

Integrating trees onto the farm with agroforestry practices can increase your farm’s resilience to climate change while improving your farm’s ecological and financial health. Diverse agroforestry cropping systems have been utilized for thousands of years to improve soil biology, livestock health, and ecosystem functioning. Jono Neiger and Seva Water of Regenerative Design Group will discuss how you can incorporate perennial crops and trees into your farming operation through alley cropping, silvopasture, forest farming, and productive buffers, and take advantage of new funding opportunities and emerging market opportunities.

Open to all. Cost is $15 per person which includes lunch. Please register by Monday, May 13th.
